Kind Strong Bars
I've been raving about Kind snack bars for years, as I love their delicious blends of flavor in an overall healthy treat. The good folks over at Kind reached out and sent me a box of their new Strong line to review.
Instead of a sweet, breakfast-type bar, the Strong series by Kind features rich, savory flavors that make an excellent lunchtime or afternoon snack. When they say Strong, they're not kidding - these delicious bars are jam-packed full of flavor.

In no particular order are the five flavors of Kind Strong bars I tried over the past week.
Honey Mustard
When I think honey mustard, my mind goes back to Old World Germany, conjuring up images of pretzels and beer. I knew Kind's bar was going to be a modern twist on the flavor combination, but I wasn't sure what to expect. Packed full of almonds, the bright mustard and sweet honey notes really shine through.
Honey Smoked BBQ
This is the bar I had high hopes for right away, as I’ve been a huge fan of BBQ sauce since I was a kid. Another thing I love is smoked almonds, so this flavor got along with my tastebuds just fine.
Thai Sweet Chili
I knew I'd relish a hint of spice with this one and my initial thoughts were it may taste similar to a few Thai dishes I had with almonds mixed in. Turns out it's the perfect combination of sweet and delicious warmth, which makes for one fine Thai Sweet Chili bar.
Hickory Smoked
I know I said this about the Honey Smoked BBQ bar, but I wasnt the least bit skeptical about this flavor. With a very strong, full mouth feel of hickory, every delicious bite of almonds is an intense, gustatory experience.
Roasted Jalapeno
How do you say "holy cow" in Spanish? This fiery treat packs just the right amount of jalapeño punch, as it flooded my mouth with the delicious taste of roasted nuts. After I was finished writing up my initial notes, I quickly devoured the rest of the Roasted Jalapeño bar in just a few seconds...woops!
