Nick Graham SS18

The lost city of Atlantis and the psychedelic Sixties inspired Nick Graham's bold Spring/Summer collection. He sent his models down the runway dressed as impossibly dapper castaways, with heavy white rope belts holding up rolled, high water trousers.

In keeping with the oceanic theme, shades of blue dominated, but he branched out into warm purple, orange and yellow. The accessories stood out as much as the clothing: round, sixties-style colored sunglasses and long necklaces, along with faux lobsters, crabs and a parrot clinged to the suit jackets. What about the footwear you ask? Despite all the accessorizing, the models were all barefoot.

Graham played deftly with classic patterns such as the marinière shirt, plaid and striped suits, but paired his simpler pieces with bold motifs such as skull and crossbones plastered across trousers, paisley and wavy stripes on his shirts. One of my personal favorites were a standout horizontal striped blazer accented with a plastic crab on the shoulder.
