Since winter weather has the potential to be unpleasant, you’ll need a solid coat or two. A quilted coat is excellent for casual wear that doesn't break the bank, but for heavy protection and timeless style, try opting for a pea coat.

Guys, don't be afraid of rocking a scarf this winter. Sticking with more masculine colors like black, brown, navy and gray is always a safe bet. However, keep a bold, colorful scarf in your wardrobe when you're drowning in a dark color palette.

Outerwear aside, every man needs a solid shirt. Try picking yourself out a trendy flannel. What dude doesn't need a shirt that goes from "casual dress" to "working man" functional just by rolling up the sleeves?
Layer a flannel shirt with a jacket to get just the right look, or button it down for the office without being too dressed up for an evening out with friends. Flannel travels well, too, which is a plus in anyone’s book.

Pair them with a cardigan, flannel button-down, or denim shirt, for a comfortable winter look. Lace on a pair of high-top sneakers or swaggy boots, and you’re ready to go!
